On Thursday, June 10, 2023, a resident in the 1000 block of Chetford had jewelry stolen during the day. They had left for a few hours and forgot to lock their back door since they often leave it open during the day. They have an alarm system but failed to activate it before they left.

Always set your alarm, even if you are only going to be gone a few minutes

Do Not leave fine jewelry in your primary bedroom and never in a jewelry box
